Thank you for using GeminusEye. This Privacy Policy explains how the macOS and iOS versions of the App handle your data. We take your privacy seriously. GeminusEye does not upload personal information to any server and does not sell or share your data.

Data We Access

GeminusEye stores only the local information needed to provide eye break reminders, Screen Time pauses, and daily stats.

On macOS, GeminusEye stores the following information locally on your Mac:

• User settings: Work interval, break duration, sound preference, launch at login preference, language preference, and skip behavior settings.
• Today's break stats: Completed breaks, skipped breaks, completion rate, and session information needed to calculate today's stats.
• Timer state: Local state needed to continue or recover the current reminder cycle.

On iOS, GeminusEye uses local Screen Time capabilities only after you grant permission and choose content to pause. It may store the following information locally on your device or in the App Group storage shared with GeminusEye's Screen Time extensions:

• Timer settings: Work interval, break duration, and reminder state.
• Screen Time selection tokens: Opaque tokens provided by the system for the apps, categories, or websites you choose.
• Token counts: Counts used to show whether a selection exists, without showing selected app or website names.
• Break state: Local state needed to apply, release, retry, or recover a current eye break.
• Break statistics and event log: Local counts and recent events needed to show today's applied, released, or failed pauses.
• Notification state: Local status and break identifiers needed to route a break notification back to GeminusEye.

Data We Do Not Access

GeminusEye does not display, store, upload, sell, or share:

• Selected app names, website names, browsing history, device usage details, Screen Time reports, or app usage reports.
• Camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, health data, account identity, advertising identifiers, or payment information.

Device Capabilities

GeminusEye uses standard macOS app capabilities to run as a menu bar app, show break overlays, play optional reminder sounds, and optionally start at login.

On iOS, GeminusEye may use Screen Time-related capabilities, including FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings, to pause only the content you choose during an eye break.

GeminusEye may also request notification permission so it can help you return to the App and release paused content after a break.

Data Storage

Settings, break statistics, opaque Screen Time selection tokens, and break state are stored locally on your device. GeminusEye does not use cloud storage, remote databases, third-party analytics SDKs, or advertising SDKs.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any of your data with any third party.

Data Deletion

You can reset or remove local data by deleting the App and its local app data from your device. On iOS, you can also turn off Screen Time breaks in the App to stop monitoring selected activity, release any active pause, and clear saved selection tokens. We hold no server-side data, so no additional deletion request is necessary.

Health, Medical, and Monitoring Disclaimer

GeminusEye is a personal habit reminder app. It is not a medical app, parental control service, or monitoring product. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, vision improvement claims, hidden monitoring, or usage reports. Please consult a qualified professional for medical or eye health concerns.

Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

GeminusEye 不会显示、保存、上传、出售或共享以下数据：

• 具体 App 名称、网站名称、浏览历史、设备使用明细、Screen Time 报告或 App 使用报告。
• 摄像头、麦克风、定位、联系人、照片、健康数据、账号身份、广告标识符或付款信息。

设备能力

GeminusEye 使用标准 macOS App 能力来作为菜单栏 App 运行、显示休息覆盖层、播放可选提醒音，并可选择登录时启动。
